Our lives and times have changed. The universe keeps reminding us through its life happenings during the course of our lives that, relying on one skill to create income may not be sustainable, especially when that skill loses economic value in the marketplace. We are often challenged to take inventory of our lives and our daily activities, and measure them against our dreams and aspirations. Ever since the lockdown started, our daily life activities have been seriously interrupted, and in a way we could have never thought. The worst thing to happen is the interruption of the ability to create income, especially through providing service to customers face to face. How can we survive being unable to earn income when we are stuck in our homes for our safety and wellbeing? I think the answer to this question simply means, we need to get out of our normal space to find the solution.

In order to survive outside your normal space, you need to condition your subconscious mind to support your desires. Otherwise if your thoughts, beliefs and feelings are not aligned with what you wish to achieve, simply put, if you want to be rich but grew up thinking money is not important, guess what, it will be almost impossible to attract money in your life, until you reprogram your subconscious mind.

Your subconscious mind is responsible for unintentional actions like breathing and blinking. It stores information, thoughts, beliefs, feelings, emotions, previous experiences, memories and skills, and uses stored information for unintentional actions. It controls about 90% of your mind and runs your life through the process of manifestation that says, your thoughts lead to your feelings, your feelings lead to your actions and your actions lead to your results.  It is powerful for achieving mastery and expert level, can be reprogrammed through conscious activities.

It’s important to know that achieving self-improvement starts in the subconscious mind and having the ability to control its phenomenal power. Failure to control it, leads to frustrations and heartache, no matter how strong a desire to change you may have. 

Below are five simple yet powerful ways on how to reprogram your subconscious mind and allow you to thrive outside your normal space.

1. REVIEW DAILY HABITS

 

You can’t expect changes in your life if you continue to do the same things every day. If you are not happy or are frustrated by lack of good results in your life, it means there are things you are not doing right or are holding you back from growing. The best way to find out is to review your daily activities. So, take some time to record all your daily activities from waking up in the morning to sleeping at night. What time do you wake up, take shower, have breakfast, start carrying out activities of the day and sleep at night?

Who do you spend your time with and what do you talk about or do? Are your actions and conversations supporting your desire to be a better person? What are you busy with on your phone? Are you building your brand on social media or just chatting with your friends, sharing jokes and not so inspirational stories?And the TV, what programs do you watch that support your goals?

By engaging in this exercise, and asking yourself these questions, you will begin to see if your daily habits are taking you into the right path or not. Once you have recorded all your daily activities, it’s time to assess their impact on what you want to achieve, one by one. Those that does not support your wishes must go. It is pointless to spend your time, money and energy on things that are not supporting your growth.

2. ACQUIRE NEW INFORMATION

Knowledge has the power to eliminate fear, worry and anxiety from the subconscious mind. It can produce confidence and ability to make better conscious decisions. So, replace old information in your subconscious mind with new information that will lead to new thoughts, which will lead to new feelings, to new actions and eventually to new results. Understand that the process of replacing old information involves acquiring new information, processing and applying it in your life for a period of time until the subconscious mind is impressed.

Reading books, attending classes, workshops and seminars and listening to audios and watching videos about new information you want to acquire, will not bring any changes in your life until you apply that information repeatedly and reviewing the results for optimal performance. Note that when going through this process of replacing old information, you will experience some internal resistance mainly because you will be acting against what’s programmed in your subconscious mind. So, don’t be afraid to experience any failure, as failure is an integral part of learning, and a sign of trying. 3. SETTING GOALS

Goals have ability to improve your results as long as you achieve them. They provide motivation required to make changes in your life. So, plan your daily goals the night before, to give your subconscious mind a space to work on your goals throughout the night. When you wake up in the morning, work on your goals and don’t do anything else until you have achieved all of them.

Review your performance at the end of the day and refine new goals for the next day. Successful people are consistent with setting, working on and achieving their daily goals. And mastering how to achieve your daily goals will make it easy for you to achieve those long-term goals or life changers. So, make setting, working on and reviewing your daily goals, a daily habit and a new lifestyle that will impress your subconscious mind.

4. REPETITION, REPETITION, REPETITION

Subconscious mind loves repetition because its power is in how it stores and uses information. If you repeatedly give subconscious mind the same information over and over, it will begin to store and use it. Just think about the lyrics of your favourite song. How many times have you repeated them? 

Just like building your muscles by lifting heavy weights repeatedly, you can reprogram your mind by verbal repetition. 

As I said before, when reprogramming your subconscious mind, you will experience resistance from old programming. So, don’t be discouraged by this resistance, just keep repeating the same process over and over again, until the subconscious mind find ways to accept the new programming.

5. PATIENCE

The last way of reprogramming your subconscious mind is Patience. The process of reprogramming your mind is not a sprint but a marathon because it took years to program it when you were growing up. So, be prepared to wait for a significant time before your subconscious mind can be fully reprogrammed. However, as you venture in this journey, you will begin to see promising results that will motivate you to keep going. Just be patient and trust the process. As long as you do the work, the results will surely come.
