Our subconscious minds control us by the information stored in them through repetition. This information to create thoughts that lead to feelings, which lead to actions and eventually to results. What you do or spend time thinking about every day is a result of how you are controlled by the subconscious mind. For example, if you live from paycheck to paycheck, and experience no joy and happiness in your life, your subconscious mind is full of information that leads to the life you live. And your life will always be like this, unless you change the information in your subconscious mind.
Reprogramming or changing information in your subconscious mind can lead to new thoughts, which to new feelings, to new actions and eventually to new life. This process is not easy because your brain is designed to protect you from what’s dangerous or uncomfortable to you, and makes it difficult to change the way you are. So, if you want to learn new things, you must basically be out of your mind.
You can only achieve this through knowledge and understanding. Knowledge has the power to eliminate fear, worry and anxiety from the subconscious mind. And gaining knowledge and understanding produce confidence and ability to make informed decisions.
Let’s make example about learning how to make money online. This may just be a perfect example for you, if you spend time on social media but are not making any money. There are people who spend less amount of time on Facebook than you do but make way lot of money out of it. Of course there are things they do that you don’t. The first thing they did was to educate themselves about making money online. Let me quickly share with you few reasons why I think you should consider learning how to make money through online business:
Low start-up costs: It’s completely recession proof business that costs virtually nothing to start.
Portable: It provides the ability to earn from anywhere in the world. You probably have basic tools (e.g. laptop or smart phone and access to internet) required to do the business. You just need to learn how to create money with them.
Highly profitable: It has no cap or ceiling on how much you can earn. This means it has ability to replace your salary and multiply it by how far you want it to be multiplied.
Leveraged income: It allows you to create systems or products that can be sold over and over again without your active control.
Enjoyable: It provides maximum time and freedom.
As I said, learning is not an easy process, especially when feeding your mind with information that’s new to it. Remember, your subconscious mind loves repetition because its power is in how it stores and uses information. If you repeatedly give it the same information over and over, it will begin to store and use it. So, the more you feed it with new information, the more it will open possibilities or opportunities that otherwise would be closed.
Learning starts with input, which leads to output. Too much input that is more than output leads to shallow learning. Shallow learning occurs when all you do is to memorise what you are reading without understanding its significance. Learning something without implementing or benefiting from it is pure intellectual entertainment.
Learning is all about deep learning and not shallow learning. Deep learning involves:
- Exploration in greater detail;
- The desire to understand the basic principles, and;
- The ability to put forward your own arguments.
Use the formula below for true mastery:
Below are important points about this formula.
1. INPUT
- The quality of input must be high.
- Pay 100% attention on learning and don’t multitask.
- The quality of input determines quality of retention; how well and how long you can remember or recall the information.
- Mastery in learning is all about high quality of input and more of output.

2. REFLECTING
- After learning something, pause for a while and establish what you can take away from it, how you can use the information in your life, your work and your family.
- Learning gets solidified when you determine and establish the importance of what you are learning.

3. IMPLEMENTING
- The magic of learning happens when you implement what you have learned.
- When you get into the habit of learning without implementation, you get the illusion of incompetence. This is a mental state where you think you have learned something when you really haven’t. It’s like fooling yourself into believing you know something you don’t.
- When you learn something, write down what you can implement and schedule time to take action of implementation.
- A lousy action is better than no action.
4. TEACHING
- The best way to learn something is to teach it to others.
- Teaching others helps the brain to retain about 90% of what you learn.
- When you share things with others, you train your brain to pay attention, and this leads to path to mastery.

It doesn’t matter whether you are a slow or fast learner. What matters is the ability to learn, to do things that scare you, things that are out of your comfort zone. You can train your brain to learn new things and achieve mastery in anything. Wealthy and famous people are masters at their game. They are passionate, have clear goals, have good purpose, hard workers, confident, and committed to lifelong learning. The following quotes can motivate you to learning new things:
“A mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions” – Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr.
“Your learning ability decides your earning capacity” – Nishant Kasibhatla
“Your income can never exceed your personal development” – Jim Rohn
“Only one who devotes himself to a cause with his whole strength and soul can be a true master. For this reason, mastery demands all of a person” – Albert Einstein
